Linen-look wallpaper is printed paper or vinyl with a photographic reproduction of linen texture. The difference is immediately apparent in person: real linen has three-dimensional depth, natural variation, and tactile warmth that printed imitations cannot match.

Linen wallpaper works in powder rooms and half baths that do not have direct shower or tub exposure. For full bathrooms with regular steam and humidity, linen is not recommended — natural flax fibers absorb moisture over time and can stain or warp.
