We offer samples for every wallpaper design in our collection. Add a sample to your cart directly from the product page — samples are $5 each and ship within 1–2 business days. We strongly recommend ordering a physical sample before committing to full rolls, since screen colors cannot perfectly represent the wallpaper's true color and texture.

Each double roll covers approximately 50 square feet. To estimate, measure your wall height and total wall width in feet, multiply them together for total square footage, then subtract windows and doors. Divide that number by 50 to get the number of rolls needed — always round up and add one extra roll for pattern matching and cutting waste. Our residential wallpapers use a butt-join installation method. For traditional paper wallpapers, apply paste to the paper (paste-the-paper method). For natural fiber wallpapers like grasscloth and silk, follow the manufacturer's specific instructions included with your order. We recommend hiring a professional wallpaper installer for best results — proper surface preparation, seam alignment, and pattern matching require experience to achieve a flawless finish.

Pattern repeat is the distance before the design repeats itself — listed as width and height in the product specifications. Larger repeats mean more waste during installation because each strip must be aligned to match the pattern at the seams. As a general rule, add one extra roll for every 4–5 rolls ordered when the repeat is larger than 12 inches. Your installer can provide an exact calculation based on your wall dimensions and the specific repeat.

Because our residential wallpapers are printed to order, rolls cannot be returned or exchanged once produced. Samples are non-refundable. If you receive wallpaper with manufacturing defects — including print flaws, incorrect color, or shipping damage — contact us within 48 hours at sales@poppyprintstudio.com with photos and we will replace it at no charge. We strongly recommend ordering a sample first to confirm your color and pattern selection.

Care depends on the material. Traditional paper wallpapers are wipeable — use a mild soap and warm water solution with a soft sponge, working from bottom to top, then rinse top to bottom with clean water. Natural fiber wallpapers like grasscloth and silk should be dusted gently with a soft brush or vacuum with a brush attachment only — do not use water or liquid cleaners. Yes. Custom colors, scale changes, and design modifications are available by request on most patterns. Because custom orders require a new print setup, minimums and lead times may differ from stock orders.
